How did your child react to laughing gas at the dentist’s?

My son is having some cavities filled soon and the dentist is going to use laughing gas. I’m kind of freaking out because I have read some scary stories about children dying but at the same time I’ve heard it’s pretty safe. I don’t know what to expect. How did your child react to it?
