I just got a root canal done earlier. My tooth was infected, so there was so much pain when my dentist was drilling to relieve pressure, even after three shots of Novocaine.
As I was trembling in the chair, I was curious as to what the dentist was thinking in his head. Was he unhindered by my obvious signs of pain and only focused on his work, or does he have a conscience?
I’d appreciate answers by anyone, of course, but would rather be answered by those who had life experiences as a dentist or a doctor.

They need to keep sterile hands so are there any rules about shaking hands with docotors or dentists or veterinarians or health care workers in general?
