Also, since it’s on the side of my tongue, it’s making eating and swallowing very difficult. Anything I can use to reduce the pain? I tried Orabase but that didn’t seem to work too well.

I’m not scared of the dentist at all, the thing that is scaring the pants of me is the injection in the gum. I’m not scared of needles at all, I can happily have an injection anytime, I even give blood. It’s the thought of the pain that is scaring me. Everytime i think about it i feel sick. It’s pathetic really, I’ve given birth to an 8lb13oz baby naturally, I should be able to have an injection!
Any advice for coping with the pain at all?
