How old was your son/daughter when they had their first visit to the dentist?

I have a 15mos daughter she has 17 teeth, so nearly all of her milk teeth have come through. I was wondering when she should have her first visit to the dentist? I dont think she would sit there and let them look in her mouth at this age as I have a hard enough time getting her to brush her teeth!
