I went to the dentist yesterday and the inside of my lip is white and pussing?
I went to the dentist yesterday to fill a gap in my tooth. He put cotton balls in and the second time he did i felt a burning. It was ok but last night about 2 hours after my lip started hurting. Its all white and very painful. And the top layer of the skin is like missing. Does anyone no what it is and what i should do to help it or what to do?

He probably used an acid etch to prepare the tooth. Sometimes it gets on your gums and lips and peels them. Nothing to do but wait for it to heal. DaLady
A couple of reasons this could happen are:
1 there was some damage to the mucosa inside the lip during the procedure, or
2 you could have bitten your lip while it was still numb.
The best thing to do is to call your dentist’s office and ask
Good luck
