Shireen asked:

Hi there, I’m a 23 y/o full time student in California and I will very soon need some dental work done, including in the future, some cosmetic dentistry. I need affordable dental insurance that will allow me to choose my dentist. I asked my dentist which she accepts, and she told me any insurance plan in which I can choose freely my dentist.

Thanks in advance!

Corey asked:

Tommorrow the dentist is coming out to do a routine check on my newly purchased horse. (she has had regular dental work)

What should I expect?
Approximately what will the costs be? (there are several horses at the same barn getting their teeth done)
Is there anything I can do to prepare for the dentist?

Is it normal for a dentist to not allow parents to accompany their young children during an exam/dental work?

We just started with a new Pediatric Dentist and they have a policy that states “parents are not allowed in the room with their child during an exam/dental work”. Is this normal? I was very offended and ended up arguing with the dentist, before she allowed me in for the “first visit only”. I’m not planning on going back… just wondering if this is normal?
